The process of "KATAZOME " (stencil dyeing)
I put glue made from rice bran and glutinous rice on top of the pattern with a spatula.
The area where the paste is placed is not dyed, so the pattern can be dyed out.
型染の製作過程
糠と餅米からできた糊を、型紙の上から置きます。
糊を置いた部分は、染まらないため、模様を染め出すことができます。
