This work is about the intersection of plants and oneself.
Kakishibu (persimmon tannin, persimmon juice) has the property of darkening in color when exposed to sunlight.
It was like a person's skin tanning in the sun.
In this work, the skins, originally the same color, becomes a deeper color when exposed to the sun.
I felt like I had found the connection between plants, animals and myself.

柿渋、綿
刺し子、ダーニングなど
この作品は、植物と、自分の交点について考えた作品です。
柿渋は、日光に当たると、色が濃くなります。それはまるで、人の肌が陽に焼けていくようだと思いました。
この作品では、元々同じ色だった肌は、日光に当たる時間によって、肌の色が深い色に育っていきます。
柿渋の色の変化を観察している中で、植物と、動物である自分の接点や交点を一つ見つけたような気持ちになりました。
